Portrait (portrait photography and painting) is the most familiar and abyss of motif to the artists. Expression or body of a model reflects on an inner side whether like or not, but also shows the spirit of the times and society. While portrait was made to tell a social state of the model or celebrate a special day, today it is one of expressional methods and developed according to development of a digital camera and smart media. In this exhibition, art works of Miwa Yanagi, Nobuyoshi Araki, Tadanori Yokoo, Tracy Emin, Robert Rauschenberg, and Francesca Woodman wlll show the expression world of contemporary portrait.
