Mucha has been widely recognised as one of the leading exponents of Art Nouveau, but an enormous body of work he produced in his fifty-year career is still to be explored and understood. The Mucha Foundation is committed to carrying out the further investigation of his work for strengthening the public's understanding of Mucha’s artistic legacy, through an ambitious programme of exhibitions and publications. These will include presentation of his renowned fin-de-siecle posters and decorative works, as well as an introduction to his lesser-known drawings, paintings, pastels, jewellery and photographs that reveal the breadth and complexity of his creative vision.
