“Living in other place” is a romantic experience, a journey, staying in an exotic surrounding. It requires courage for people to learn and to fuse into a different language and culture, as if opening a door to another world to see an unknown landscape.

Through the guidance of the art creations, we sail away from our lives and routines. It could either be the journey of your body or your spirit. This will trigger the feeling of freshness and open the curious mind to idea, “Living other place”.

There are four different nationalities and views of artists in Art Supply III. They areRohan Wealleans (Asia New Zealand Exchange Program), Ricardo O'Nascimento (Brazil), Alan Eglinton (England), and Ella Barclay (Australia Asialink Exchange Program), who provide view points from outside of Taiwan. Meanwhile, a Taiwanese artist, Cheng-Ta Yu (New Zealand Unitec Exchange Program), who was in residence in an international artist village in Auckland in New Zealand, provides a view point from inside of Taiwan. Their experiences will be brought together in Art Supply IIIwith observation of the lives in different places and break a new ground for the definition of living in other places. The material will be transformed art creations. This summer, the exhibition of Art Supply III“Living in other places” will be hold simultaneously in both Taipei Artist village and Treasure Hill Artist village.
