The world acclaimed chinese artist, Li Shan, has strong personal characteristics shown in his artworks. Li created many images challenging traditional values and politics as represented in his Mao Face image series.

For this time, Li Shan will challenge another taboo topic, Gene Mutation, in which Li transforms the gallery into a  gene mutation base, featuring 10 pieces of gene-themed art works. In addition, 200 thousands butterflies were covered on the outer sphere of the gallery, which suddenly turned the whole building into a gene laboratory. The whole exhibition challenge the people's recognition of gene mutation, uncover people's desire, challenge authoritives, politics, and knowledge.
