The exhibition displays more than a hundred works of teachers of Art College of Southwest University including traditional Chinese painting, canvas, engraving painting, sculpture, etc. The artists always insist the creation road of realism and make broad and multiple exploration of present art. The art practices in “form language of modern engraving painting”, “experimental art of ink painting”, “new landscape painting”, “new humanism of canvas direction”, “mainland cultural elements of modern sculpture”, etc focus on the excavation of art creation with features of southwest China and up-to-date aesthetics characters, which arose the broad academic attention of art circle. These art works gradually accumulated vivid education features and art spirit guideline of southwest direction in the courses of art education, scientific research and creation in more than 60 years of the college.
