It was in the last century when I began to paint Chinese cultural stars , and at the same  time I also painted flowers and birds. As time goes by. those Chinese paintings are  collected in Painting Praises of Chinese Cultural Stars and Auspicious Flowers, and then  published. The paintings are appreciated by my friends and peers, thereupon, this exhibition  comes into being. As a professional Chinese painter it is ashamed that my first personal  exhibition comes late at my seventies. Due to my deficient knowledge and limited  proficiency, my paintings are not perfectly satisfactory to me. However, it is great honor  for me to be able to do something practical for the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.  Fortunately, thanks to the peace and stability in these thirty years brought by national  policy of reform and open up, I have done what I’m pleased with, which I believe will be  beneficial to the youth and in line with social ethos as well as people’s thoughts. The  posterity is inspired by millennial civilization, and the rise of China is well on the way.
