Calligraphy Exhibition of Chi Jingjie

Chi Jingjie, Female, was born in in ShanDong.Members of Chinese  Calligraphy Association,consultant of Chinese people's political Consultative Committee, Managing Director of Chinese Art lnstitution, Members of Returned Overseas Chinese Artist Association, Honorable Dean of Chinese Famous Calligraph College, Members  of the Chinese National Culture Research Seminar. She was born in a art family, and started to learn calligraphy from her father when she was four.

She was supervised by Mr. AiXinJueLuo·Qizu when she was twelve. she studied the calligraphy of Han, weijin and Tang song Dynasty systematically.

She has been deeply studied Wang Xizhi and Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy art for several decades. Meanwhile, she studied Chinese calligraphy history, painting history, penmanship theory, western and eastern art history, classical literture and traditional poetry, which built up a firm theorical fundation for her calligraphy.

She breathed her passion and life into the calligraphy. Her handwriting broke the traditional structure of Chinese handwriting, which rebuild the structure by “new concept, new expression, new thoughts”. Her works can give you the impression of millennium.

During fourty years of study, practice and research, she made a large number of excellent works, some were collected by collecters and some were collected by famous foreign art museum, they bid a dear price in auction.lt is because she had a special, distinctive way of calligraphy. She participated many calligraphy competition and won many prizes, and she was received by central authorities leaders for many times.

Furthermore, her art life was reported by the China Central Television, she was also edited in “The Blue Book of Celebrities” and “Chinese Celebrities”. She held large-scale calligraphization in Macow, Guangzhou, Henan, Nanjing, Shanghai, Jilin and Hebei province. She publised four sets of pencrafts, and her works were published by many magazines.

On the road of art exploring, she working diligently and tirelessly, and keeps modest and prudent acdamic attitude. She is praised as a successful female innovative  calligrapher by the mass media.
