New Sensitivity —— Sculpture Exhibition of the Czech Republic from 1960s to 1980s

The "New Sensitivity —— Sculpture Exhibition of the Czech Republic from1960s to 1980s" organized by the National Art Museum of China and the National Gallery in Prague will be open at 5:30 p.m. on the May 10th, 2010 at the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition, as an important item of the Czech Culture Festival of the People's Republic of China is attached great importance by the galleries of the two countries. The exhibition will be held at the No. 5 and 7 hall in the National Art Museum of China from May 11 to June 30.

This exhibition will display 61 sculptures, including the glass sculpture, metal sculpture, and comprehensive material sculpture, as well as the paintings and photos of past exhibitions. The exhibition focuses on the the art practice course of the Czech sculpture from1960s to 1980s and focuses on the presentation of the Czech sculpture features from1960s to 1980s, namely the pure image, transparent material, and good combination of intention with light and shadow. The exhibition includes the works of the artists who achieved the success in the Brussels Expo in 1958, and created the wonderful times of the creation idea and value update of the Czech, as well as the works of the world-renowned Czech glass masters.

The exhibition is a typical event integrating the creative contemporary Czech art with the materials, light and space, and a new achievement for the cultural exchange between the two countries. The art communication and dialogue between the two countries will enable us to know each other better and look into the future. We believe the fantastic Czech sculpture will bring you an aesthetic pleasure.
