Fang Shao Hua is a new immigrant artist in Singapore. He was born in Guangzhou and grew up in this famous cultural city; reflected by his artist family, he graduated from oil painting department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art in 1985. In the 1990, he finally immigrated to Singapore. It was a great experience at the academy that to be capable of learning about a solid foundation in art and other technical ability. His portrait paintings and the series of “Niu Che Shui” street scenes that indicated detailed realistic and factual description, imbued with the spirit of a strong prominence to the humanistic care.
