China Central Academy of Fine Arts sixteenth undergraduate studies classes on painting, on the basis of the traditional teaching, hold art idea of well digested completely understood of Western and East culture and art. It further explores and makes experiment on the teaching of modernist painting. It gradually sorts the deep relationship of traditional and modern, art and ideas, art and techniques, art and sense. It tries to find a meeting point in the realm of Western rational structure and sentiment of the East.

"A hidden structure" must be existed in the art works. On the point, line, surface form and other modern languages to make art more pure, more independent, more metaphysical ideas and spiritual strength.

On the occasion of the show, we especially have greetings for the teachers who participate in the teaching in the college and department: Xie Dongming, Ma Lu, Ding Yilin, Liu Xiaodong, Yu Hong, Zhang Yuan, Hu Jiancheng, Li Yanzhou, Ma Xiaoteng, Liu Shangying, Shi Yu, Hu Mingzhe, Wei Jia and other teachers, and invited Professor Mr. Tony Brown, Mr. Liu Jude, especially the old professor Mr. Zhong Han.
