The exhibition shows high —— end of outstanding works created by the famous Chinese portraits painters. There are three characteristics on the exhibition: The first is the publicity of history and culture of ancient Beijing, people and culture of harmonious Beijing and the spirit of Beijing through the creation and display of portraits; the second is that it has prominent historical and cultural features of Beijing, social development and era style. It embodies important historical representative since Beijing as an ancient capital was built; Third, a clear theme, rich content, new forms and artistic of elegant reflect the exploration spirit and innovation achievement of the artistic development with times.

The nearly 150 displayed works are not only created with the member of Beijing Research Institute of Culture and History but also the new works of contemporary figure painting master. The organizer will also exhibit the National Art Museum of China, China Central Academy of Fine Arts and other cultural institutions, professional collection of famous classics master.

Through this exhibition, in the sort of historical context of Beijing and artistic style show of Chinese painting, we want to make further knowledge and understanding of spirit meaning of the humanity in Beijing in order to stimulate arduous national spirit of hard working, which will enhance the self —— confidence and pride of fine traditional Chinese culture.
