Painting with Ten Fingers - Arts Exhibition of Liu Bojun

Finger painting means to paint with fingers and palms instead of traditional writing brush. Dip ink with fingers. It is extremely hard so that few people learn, let alone successors. However, since Liu Bojun learned after Pan Tianshou personally and has practiced for more than 60 years, Liu Bojun can create finger painting with both hands, reaching present “painting with ten fingers”. Liu Bojun can paint flowers and birds on paper but also use ten fingers, which is absolutely unique in modern fine arts circle.
In order to match this exhibition, Liu Bojun’s Arts Seminar will be held at 10:00 of October 26, 2011 in academic report hall on 7th floor of National Art Museum of China. At that time, important fine arts historians, reviewers, scholars and experts of Chinese modern fine arts history and relevant scholars of fine arts circle will jointly discuss Liu Bojun’s arts.
