China’s Memory - Comprehensive Fine Arts Works Exhibition for 100th Anniversary of the Revolution

Artists from various arts universities and colleges and professional creation institutions invited in “Comprehensive Fine Arts Works Exhibition for 100th Anniversary of the Revolution of 1911” create these paintings after more-than-one-year research on historical materials and field survey as the memory and commemoration of development of Chinese ethnic peoples in the Revolution of 1911.
These works adopt international modern arts languages and arts ways to express China’s important historic themes. The exhibition gathers important historic theme, cultural arts mainstream, academic features, contemporary times and creation, emphasizes the spirit of the times and exhibits the charm and appearance of modern new arts. It has rich accumulation in creation with realism and drawing with realistic way of works with important historic themes. The exhibition gives a positive answer to the doubt whether drawing with comprehensive materials including details, image, half abstract and abstract can express important historic themes.
