Mountains and Sea - The art exhibition of Lijiang Painting School Entering Fangchenggang City

Through the magic paintings by the artists of the Lijiang Painting School, the aim of this exhibition is to display Fangchenggang City, a rapid rise city towards the northern Gulf burgeoning, an important energetic port industrial city, an important gateway city and a famous Chinese coastal cultural city, and to promote the understanding and desire of entering into this fascinating Fangchenggang City.

Situated at the bank of the northern Gulf and the board between China and Vietnam, backed by millions of magnificent Mountains, Fangchenggang City with thousands sails competed in the harbor boasts of beautiful coastline, endless golden sands, grand boarder gate, hospitable and honest Jing and Daban Yao girls. The painting material is quite rich. In November of 2010, led by Professor Huang Gesheng, Vice-Chairman of Chinese Artists’ Association, Vice-Chairman of CPPCC Guangxi Committee, President of Guangxi Arts Institute, Chairman of Promoting Society of Lijiang Painting School, over one hundred artists from the Society collected materials in the fields and did sketches, making this trip the art activity attracting the largest number of participants within the longest time span and largest of its kind in scale. Deeply touched by the rapid development of Fangchenggang City, the artists created almost 200 paintings of Chinese painting, oil-paining and water color. These paintings fully express the modern scenes and natural landscape of Fangchenggang City and present the unique artistic perspectives and superb artistic standards of the artists of Lijiang painting school. These works also add attraction to the rising Fanggangcheng City.
