Still - New Perspective Event at Le Meridien Cyberport
Artist(s): Tsui-shan Jessey TSANG
Date: 18 Oct - 30 Nov 2011
Jessey Tsang’s thematic avocation in 2011 is to stroll the hilly wilderness - to observe and listen to the earth and the sun. Her video work, Still, is a praise to nature. Having been shot at several natural spots in Hong Kong, nature’s beauty shines through the many close-ups and long shots. Tsang’s 3D space construction is an attempt to draw the viewers to another layer of spatial depth, for them to discover and appreciate nature’s exquisiteness. Not only does Still explore the natural space, it also reflects upon the re-presentation of space. Tsang joins hands with 3D cinematographer Henry Chung and experimental composer Nerve to take you on an unnatural natural journey.
