Over the past fifty years, the Department of Fine Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, has dedicated itself to the cultivation of local art professionals. Besides creating visual arts in different media, its graduates have also been involved in other cultural domains, continually providing new blood to the local creative industry. The annual event “The Art of CUHK 2010” will feature exhibitions of works by both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as an invitational exhibition — “Spirit and Re-invention : Hong Kong Sculpture Biennial 2010”.
The activities will take place in various venues on the campus. The opening will be held on May 29, Saturday, 3 pm at the Art Museum, Main Campus of CUHK.
