With the success of last year Fa Pai (Flower Plagque) heritage local craft aesthetics programme, we invited Mr Paul Chan, a local Big Head Buddha Crafters , Mr Ip Ho Lun Roland and Ms Eriu Chan, Chinese Calligraphy and visual artist, to take up the residency at HKSC as a community artist in residence programme. With their residency, they shared their stories and craftsmanship of the art forms with our students, and led them to explore the possibility with modern design. This exhibition is an attempt for HKSC students to create artworks integrating traditional craftsmanship with innovation. A fun-filled public workshop will be held to share the intrinsic part of the traditional art form. Don’t miss this rare chance!
