Hong Kong Land and Asian Cultural Council will be presenting Hon Chi Fun's Perspective at 91 at The Rotunda at the Exchange Square.
This year, Hon Chi Fun’s 91st birthday coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Asian Cultural Council (ACC). He was also amongst the first local recipients of an ACC Fellowship in 1968, when ACC was still known as the John D. Rockefeller 3rd Fund (the predecessor organization of the Asian Cultural Council). The fellowship gave him the opportunity of an overseas exchange experience that led to his transformative change as an artist.
Hong Kong Land has a long tradition of bringing the best in art to Central and is a pioneer in the use of commercial property to display works of art from emerging artists to masters of the twentieth century like Hon Chi Fun. His four iconic paintings in the Sphere series, commissioned by Hongkong Land, have been on display at Jardine House since 1988.
