Agus is one of Indonesia’s leading contemporary artists. Trained in Graphic Design at Bandung’s Institute of Technology (ITB), he worked as a graphic designer before becoming an artist. His career spans across Asia and Europe, from local solo exhibitions to international group shows. Some of his most recent international shows include ZKM Thermocline of Art: New Asian Waves in Germany (2007); the 1st Singapore Biennale (2006); CP Biennale in Jakarta (2005), 7th Yogyakarta Biennale and Gwangju Biennale: Man + Space (2000).
