Alcaston Gallery will be exhibiting at the inaugural Sydney Contemporary 13. It is a new international art fair which will present modern and contemporary artwork from over 80 Australian and international galleries. The fair will aim to showcase work by acclaimed and emerging artists at the striking arts precinct Carriageworks.

Winner of the Gold Award 2012 & Togart Contemporary Art Award 2012, acclaimed Queensland artist Sally Gabori currently has her work featured at Personal Structures at the magnificent Palazzo Bembo at the 55th Venice Biennale.
Nonggirrnga Marawili is one of the most highly regarded artists at Buku Larrnggay Mulka, Yirrkala, Northern Territory for her remarkable bark paintings and Larrkitj. In 2012 she was a finalist in the prestigious Togart Contemporary Art Award, and this year, Nonggirrnga has been announced as finalist in the Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize 2013.
Having recently joined the Alcaston Gallery artist stable, we are thrilled to showcase powerful photographic work by Greg Semu for the first time at Sydnery Contemporary 13. Born in New Zealand to Samoan parents, Greg embraces Samoa as his ancestral and spiritual home, and explores themes of cultural displacement in his evocative photography.
