Bei Xu Min, born in 1946, is member of Jiangshu Artists Association, China Watercolourist Association, Director of Jiangshu Watercolour Research Society and a senior lecturer of ShuZhou Arts and Crafts School.
 
Many of his works were showned in such exhibitions as the 7th, 8th and 9th National Fine Arts Exhibition, Geshan Paintings Exhibition, China - Jiangshu Exhibition, Sino - South Korean Watercolour Exhibition, and Asian Watercolour Joint Exhibition, etc.
 
Since 1991, some of his works were stored in Jiangshu Gallery. In 1995 and 1998, he held his personal exhibitions in Taibei 2 times. Moreover, Bei Xu Min was awarded many prizes such as 2 prizes of excellent works in the 3rd National Watercolour and Gouache Exhibition and in Chinese Fine Arts Fair, a gold prize in the 5th Jiangshu Watercolour Exhibition etc.
 
Hailed as one of the top 30 watercolour painters in China, Bei Xu Min was commissioned by Art House Gallery to come paint our Malaysia vista in 2005. Now, 2 years down the road, he has come up with 40 superb pieces of watercolour works depicting the people and landscapes of our country.
