Rina Banerjee was born in 1963, Calcutta, India. Educated at Yale University, School of Art 1995. She has exhibited internationally including solo exhibitions in New York City, with upcoming exhibitions Berlin(2007), Paris(2006) . She has shown in such prominent group exhibitions as Tsumari – Echigo's 3rd Triennial , Japan(2006), The Greater New York Show, PS1 MOMA(2005), Massachusetes Museum of Contemporary Art, North Adams (2004), Whitney Museum of American Art's Atliera Space(2003).The Whitney Biennial (2000) at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Rina currently lives and works in New York City.
