Iranian born and London based artist Afsoon has re-visited the blossoming of creativity and progress during the 1960s and 1970s.  From the Arab World to Iran, from the Indian Sub-Continent to Turkey, that movement continues, and in her series of Icons from these four regions sharing the commonality of Islamic influence and history, Afsoon has celebrated some of the most outstanding personalities who, and objects which, were either born in or achieved fame during these decades.
