DOMINIK MERSCH GALLERY is pleased to present an evening of art and entertainment for the opening of ELIZABETH THOMSON ‘Voyage Sauvage’ and ERICA SECCOMBE ‘Grow’.
For her first Australian exhibition, New Zealand artist ELIZABETH THOMSON has created captivating wall sculptures of exquisite photography and unique sculptural techniques that echo mesmerising oceanic beauty and celebrate the aquatic world.
Derived from experimental research project, ERICA SECCOMBE presents a combination of 3D stereoscopic projection and 3D printed objects that provide the viewer with a unique, immersive experience of observing microscopic organisms through computational magnification.
The opening night will feature the SPLINTER ORCHESTRA, a large-scale electro-acoustic improvising ensemble. The orchestra’s score will create a unique and heightened viewing experience of both exhibitions.
