An act that serves as an immediate response and remains to be the essential building block of ideas, drawing emerges as an innate quality of the artistic mind.
As the human race progresses toward consumption, constant evolution and de-generation (in various categories) the making of art faces the test of pace and unaccounted time. Yet drawing stays grounded as the alcove of trust, the safe haven, the hypnotizing visual – free storage of our image beaten minds, though it takes on diverse characters in the form of thread, ink, graphite, tea stains, and sometimes places its soul in found objects.
Coming back to where we began and where we shall always be found In the thickness of the lines and in the coarse brush strokes In between the marks that were left behind to memory I draw so I may find a resting place.
