“Body / Narrator” hopes to present perspectives of artists as narrators and how they set off creating with physical body experience. Meanwhile, the works shows the intimate tie between their practice and their own life in the angle of sensation and state of mind; the creations expound diverse body experience of the artists and also describe time, space, family memories and history. In this exhibition, various works by Taiwanese and Filipino artists will be deployed and form varies from figurative to abstract. Every story of a work is a beginning or a chapter that connects artists and viewers with similar life experience and collective memories. Moreover, it brings out more sympathetic arousal and possibility of interpretation and appreciation.
