Miao Xiaochun's work employ the latest three-dimensional computer technology to create many montage images and virtual realities. His way of expression is based on subjective interpretations of historic artworks, especially by taking the classic European paintings around the renaissance as the structure for visual expressions.

In Miao's works, we can see the mutual reflection, overlapping and replacement between western and Chinese aesthetics, classic painting and new media art.

By employing these different views in creating a three-dimensional transposition of The Garden of earthly delights, Miao Xiaochun creates a contemporary visual vocabulary.
