Do Tuan Anh (1979) will be presenting his latest series Faraway at CTG from 6 – 29 September 2012. Tuan Anh’s work centers around the concept of mother/fatherland, memory, childhood and nostalgia. A native of Thanh Hoa, a province on the North Central coast of Vietnam, the artist has been creating work throughout his career that reference his responses and experiences as an immigrant to the city. Through a thorough introspective search, the artist strives to make a connection to society at large and the changes taking place in his native country.
