Awagami Factory will open a exhibition 'Awagami Print Expression 2013 – Washi and Technology.' Since 2007, 'Awagami Print Expression' has constantly been held 8 times. So far, the exhibition focused on Tokyo-based artists and venues but to look back local tradition, this year Kyoto is selected as new location.
Inkjet print on AIJP (Awagami Ink Jet Paper) shows attraction and a possibility of a collaboration between tradition living today and technology with various genre and enriched and fresh expression.
