Born in 1967, Dongi Lee has studied at Hong Ik University. Since he created 'Atomouse' character in 1993 and announced it at the exhibition 'Remote control' in 1994, he has worked lively and been called 'originator of Korean pop art'. After the first exhibition at On gallery in 1993, he has held 25 solo exhibitions, including Kobayashi gallery in Tokyo, 'Crash' at Ilmin Museum, 'Smoking' at One and J. Gallery in 2006, and so on. In 2006, his work was sold for USD 15,600 at Sotheby's in New York.
