Live Installation and Performance Art Exhibition by Deviprasad C. Rao titled ‘Live your Art 2: Parts of the Process’ on at Sunaparanta – Goa Centre for the Arts from the 29th of November – 3rd of December from 10am – 10 pm.

This is his second Live Installation and Performance Art exhibition – the first being ‘Live Your Art’ which was held last year at Sunaparanta. The video of ‘Live your Art’ by Shrinivas Mangipudi is currently being screened in Gallery 4 at Sunaparanta – Goa Centre for the Arts – from 29th November – 3rd December from 10 am to 7 pm.

Live Installation and Performance Art are terms that refer generally to type of conceptual art which evolved from, and has become an extension of, what we traditionally define as the “Visual Arts.” They involve four fundamental components: time, space, the performer and the observer. Through interactivity, the barrier or hierarchy between performer and observer is eroded and the work of art is subject not only to the perception but also to the reaction of the viewer.
