Sunaparanta - Goa Centre for the Arts will hold its annual exhibition of mixed media paintings on paper by 30 children of The Mango Tree Children’s Art School, titled 'INNOCENT STROKES’ curated by artist Deviprasad C Rao. The exhibition opens on 14th April, 2010 at 5.00 pm.

The participating children are part of a children’s art education programme run by Sunaparanta. This is an annual event where in all children enrolled in the school exhibit works created during their learning process. We call this learning process “art exploration” which is intended as both, educative and entertaining way of discovering Fine Art.

As the title suggests the works selected by the Mango Tree teaching staff showcases the creativity that flows through each child from an ‘innocent’ state. The imagery in each work conveys the power and originality of innocence.

This exhibition of children, aged between 4 to 14 years, will be open for public viewing till 20th April, 2010 between 10.00 am to 7.00 pm.
