Art is not merely amusement, but a magic that can bring the audience an emotional current that inspires their lives.  Art arises of itself and does not depend on anything previously crafted. For a true photographer, Photography isn't all that complicated, it's simply one word:'Passion'.  One of the greatest photographers of all times, Ansel Adams, had said, "You don't take a photograph, you make it!". How very true!

So here we are, with our attempt to emulate the same.

The Photography Club of the Goa College of Engineering, proudly presents Photoflare 2010, an international festival celebrating the art of photography, scheduled in April 2010, that strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and introduce photographers from around the country and beyond to the shutterbug community
of Goa, India.

PhotoFlare isn't just about Photography Competitions, Workshops and Lectures, but a celebration of the Spirit of Photography all around the world.
