Panaji, 08.02.2010 : Glamour photographer turned fine art photographer, Bharat Sikka, who made the February cover of Platform Creative Lifestyle, will be in Goa for the preview of his stunning collection of photographs titled "The Road to Salvador do Mundo" at Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts, in collaboration with Nature Morte. Sikka is one of the most accomplished art photographers in the nation today, and this is his newest exhibition which has received wide acclaim in the art world.

The show opens to the public at Sunaparanta, an arts education initiative of Dattaraj V Salgaocar located in Altinho,Panjim, on Saturday, February 13th, and will be on view for 3 weeks.

Inspired by Sikka's stay in the village of the same name while awaiting the birth of his first child, the project took 2 years to complete, and represents, Sikka says, a personal journey.  Bharat Sikka is represented in India and abroad by Peter Nagy of Nature Morte (New York and Delhi), who is known to have an eye for unique photography and conceptual work. Nagy, along with the artist, will be in Goa to personally install and inaugurate the exhibition.
