Meem Gallery, with the assistance of exhibiting artist Yasser Safi, bring together the works of Youssef Abdelke, Nasser Hussein, Abdallah Murad, Yaser Safi, Mounir Shaarana, Edward Shahada and Fadi Yazigi in Art Syria. All the works in this exhibition have been created in the past three years, documenting each artist’s personal interpretation of the civil war that has plagued the Syrian people for the past three years. Utilizing their own techniques and inspirations to create art during this period, each artist has stayed true to their style whilst exploring a new geographical and metaphorical landscape in their work.
