Anil CS Rao is a photo based artist who currently is based in Bethesda, Maryland outside Washington DC. He has lived and worked in Los Angeles, New York City and Washington DC. He currently maintains a studio at Dondapadu Village near Eluru, AP India. He is currently completing an MFA in Poetry from National University in San Diego, California (distance education) and will be starting a second Masters in Digital Art at Maryland Institute of Art or the University of Maryland in September 2010. His past exhibitions evoked interest from a cultural point of view in the States and from a technical/process view in past exhibits in India. He will be quoted on WikiPedia as having worked out a unique method to create canvas paintings based on original photography. In addition to exhibiting at Gallery Space - he will also be exhibiting in Pune, India and Baltimore USA in 2010.
