Jacob Tillman received his MFA in painting from UCLA in 2009, and his BFA from CCA in 2007. Born and raised in Nebraska, he lives and works in Los Angeles where he surfs and paints. He has exhibited at galleries in San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as in Rome and Salzburg, Austria. In 2008, he was awarded the prestigious J. B. Blunk Residency.
