My greatest desire is to reveal a deeper truth by exploring the visual experience. I seek to inspire dialogue and a self-reflection in others. For many years, I have been moved by the spherical Mandala as a universal scientific and metaphysical form. Its shape echoes manifestations in our own cells, unfolding flowers or patterns in the deepest reaches of space. I am interested in naturally formed phenomena devoid of artificial boundaries and their contrast to structures like a pyramid or grid. The disparity between topographical texture and balance of the natural world and hierarchical human paradigms, suggests. the indomitable spirit of creation relative to the grid of imposed structure of cities, hegemonies and power. Each project starts by visiting a particular space. My discovery begins by feeling its history and the atmosphere in which it exists. I proceed intuitively, exploring the social milieu, natural history and politics that enter my mind in the fledgling stages of an installation. I then select materials based on "character traits" to tell a story. Some are fragile and ephemeral, while others are rigid or fabricated to evoke the mood and spirit of site-specific environs. I am constantly amazed by the range of organic and synthetic materials that can be re-framed in unique relationships to support the ultimate concept of a piece.   As I expand my vocabulary of images, I am interested in creating more dynamic dialogues of myth and reality. I am intent on introducing references to biology and elements that humanize the effect that each of us has on this universal world. Our lives are inherently connected to the whole of its people, its natural wonder, spirit and momentum. By magnifying the outlook of a flourishing sustainability with impending disaster, I aspire to better understand the consequences we face in our experience of modern life.
