by Kyoto City University of Arts Art Gallery
Location: Kyoto City University of Arts Art Gallery
Artist(s): GROUP SHOW
Date: 20 Jul - 4 Aug 2013

Kyoto City University of Arts Art Gallery is pleased to announce the group exhibition 'We Are particles of water, separate but for the wave in which we are one.' The exhibition is to introduce the young artists, Yukino Miyata, Mitsuo Kim, Tomoko Atsuchi, Kohei Yamashita from Kyoto, Tokyo based artist Yusuke Suga and Aichi based artist Shinya Aota.
Even though young artists form a community through sufficient communication, they say that artworks and activities are very 'personal' issues. A situation stemmed from visual sympathy and conflict by language is called 'imperfect state', which is the concept of this exhibition as well. As putting the efforts into this, each different world of artists creates various form of sympathy and conflict.
20 flat artworks and 15 multi-dimensional artworks including installation will be on display.
