Gallery Shirakawa is pleased to announce Tadashi Ogura's new exhibition.
It was 17 years ago that he started painting a city. At that time a 'city' he drew was about sky scrappers and brilliant tower, which represent the city as dynamically growing organism and also people's appearance, who live under the pressure of the city.
After six years, he was fascinated by another side of city changing with a history, brighter colors and round shapes started appearing on his painting. Ogura started drawing people's hope and desire into an urban cityscape. It was when gallery Shirakawa introduced his works for the first time. 10 years late, even now he keeps expressing urban imagery cityscape.
In this exhibition, 25 new works will be showed.
