Kodama gallery is pleased to hold Kohei Kajihara's solo exhibition. Kajihara has announced new works at 'Flashback' in 2010 and 'Wildfire' in 2011, and the group show 'Ignore your perspective 15' in 2012.
Kajihara does not just describe arbitrary image, but also 'try to earn stronger image beyond his control' so that he has worked in terms of his belief constantly.
In this exhibition, he collects amplitude spreading to both poles as one. When creating an art work, he remembers an object or situation before him based on 'reality', and transform and add the meaning to it. As a result, he makes the original form in 'reality' more dimly and beautiful but look as an abstract scene. By a clear and speedy stroke, Kajihara's work is not complicated but gives a certain feeling that there is something behind the scene to the viewer. Also, as revealing the image inside, his work does not depart from self-control, but the every fast stroke filling with various elements as the strong image with 'reality' different to each other stimulates people's minds.
