Mori Yu Gallery will participate in Cho-Kyoto 2013.

Greetings from Kyoto, and here we are happy to announce you that we are going to hold the art fair 3rd "Cho-Kyoto".
The art fair was held as the 'Contemporary Art @ Sugimoto Family's House" in 2010 May, also 'Contemporary Art @ Shousei-sen (Higashi Honganji Temple)' in 2011 November. 

This year, the art fair entitled 'Cho-Kyoto 2013 Contemporary Art' will be held at the recommended 'Today's Machiya in Kyoto Modal House Exhibition Place KYOMO'. Machiya is Kyoto's traditional townhouse made with long-established construction method and local materials. Locating at the 5 model houses built with traditional construction method and local materials, seven galleries leading the domestic and international art scenes will introduce an atrraction of the contemporary art. On the day of 5th of October during the art fair, we are open until 8 O'clock evening, linking with the art event NUIT BLANCHE 2013 coloring the night of Kyoto.

Next 'Cho-Kyoto' will be held at the spring of 2015, at the same time with the Kyoto International Festival of Contemporary Culture : PARASOPHIA. at the upcoming year of 2015, wi will aim to introduce more an attraction of contemporary arts and crafts heading to the world, setting a goal to have the two large art fair 'Cho-Kyoto 2015' and 'Art Fair - ART KYOTO the second'.
