Urago has moved to London and finished the master program at Slade School of Fine Art in London. After the residency program in South Africa, now she lives and works in Japan.
In her painting, beautiful woman appears with adding geometric abstract method. Since a child, she has been playing the piano, and from this experience, Urago derives the world of figuration from abstract imagination. Abstract and representational paintings are not different in terms of quality but atmosphere, like different feeling of same music according to the length of a musical note.
In addition, Urago works as a make-up artist for models. This experience may affect on her painting in terms of touching.
In this exhibition, representational, abstract, and mixed works will be introduced.
