Gao Jing Jun was born in Shan Dong China in 1971. Graduated in 1992 from QingDao Teaching University, where he studied oil painting. Recognised at the China Oil Painting Art Exhibition in 1997.

He is now Professor at the QingDao Polytechnic University of Art. His work shows an instinctive understanding of the changes taking place in contemporary China.
