GJ Asian Art presents Sanso Moderno, an introspection of life by the 82 years old Philippine maestro Juvenal Sanso. Immortalized through esteemed works newly created for his Singapore show, the inevitability of life brings change. Life the seas splashing against the warm cliffs of Brittany, Sanso's brushstrokes move along with the tides of his life. Blessed with a celebrated clientele that carries his works, Sanso's creations are found in Musee d' Art Moderne in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York as well as personal collections by patrons worldwide such as Princess Chumbhot, Nelson A. Rockefeller and Baron Edouard de Rothschild.
Bestowed upon by the Spanish King, H.R.H Juan Carlos I with the Cross of Isabela, this artist celebrates the transition and ushers in a new direction on his canvass with shades shifting like to sunset, marked by contrasts of turquoise and golden yellow as well as hushed shades of violet and crimson.
