Khai graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts (Painting) (Lasalle College of the Arts, 2009). His recent exhibitions include France + Singapore New Generation Artists (SG Private Banking Gallery, Alliance Française de Singapour, 2009), Red Light (Post Museum, Singapore, 2009), and the ASEAN Youth Camp Art Showcase (School of Arts, Design and Media, National Technological University of Singapore, 2009). Khai won First Prize in the SLA Painting Competition (Singapore Land Authority, 2009).

Khai’s allegorical paintings, containing animal imagery, reflect on his own personal experiences.
