“Abstract”

Arty Art Gallery sponsored another international artist Manuchakravarthi this February till 17 March. His first international solo exhibition “Abstract” at The Arts House and Arty Art Gallery. Fit with the name of the exhibition, the theme is abstract and 31 art pieces will be displayed. Acrylic on canvas, sizes from 28x28x2cm to 170x94x2cm (3D). Artwork price ranged from S$ 640 to S$ 3680. All the selling prices are same as artist’s native country's selling price.

Manuchakravarthi has garnered numerous awards for his works. In 1996 and 1997, he was awarded the Karnataka Lalitha Kala Academy Student Scholarship and subsequently won the Karnataka Lalitha Kala Academy Award. He also won the All India Mysore Dasara Award in 1996 and 2002.

With the first international exhibition, Manuchakravarthi hopes to interest the international art market about his works. 

His solo show official opening was on 27th February 2009 at the Arts House, Gallery and the exhibition was till 1st March 2009. The private viewing by appointment is until 17th March 2009 at Arty Art Gallery, 55 Verde View Singapore 688684.
