Born in 1945 in Wenzhou, China, Madam Zhang Leiping was a graduate of the painting department of Shanghai Theatre Academy. A guest professor at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and College of Fine Arts, Shanghai University, she is revered as one of the top Chinese artists in Shanghai. 3rd in the series of visual art programmes jointly organised by NAFA and Club NAFA, Zhang Leiping in Singapore, is positioned as a key cultural event that celebrates the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Singapore.
