Face to Face: Portraiture in a digital age is a showcase of digital photography, video and interactive installations created by 14 Australian artists who seek to provide a unique and engaging perspective to the visitors. Some of the works in Face to Face explore and critique the narcissistic longing to be a celebrity, to have the perfect face and body, that is a reflection of our contemporary culture. Works by Daniel Crooks, Michele Barker & Anna Munster, Sterlac, John Tonkin, David Rosetzky, Rachel Scott and many more attempt to reshape our understanding and experience on how digital technologies influence our identities. NAFA partners Asialink, d/lux/MediaArts and Australian High Commission in bringing Face to Face to Singapore this November.
