An exhibition showcasing works from the NAFA permanent collection by artists who imbue both conventional and modern genres with obscure and familiar narratives. This selection will include over 50 works by NAFA alumni and artist luminaries such as Chng Chin Kang, Chin Hwee Khim, Ezzam Rahman, Tan Kian Por, Chng Seok Tin, Chen Shi Fa and Wang Xi Jing. In conjunction with this exhibition, a forum-style discussion with local painters on the state of painting promises to further the debate on “Is painting dead?”
